Pamela Spencer
Pamela holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Hamilton College. Her professional career spanned various positions in city government and customer services in upstate New York, Washington, D.C., Boston and Denver. Currently, Pamela takes pleasure in raising her three active sons—Tim, Dan and Paul—with her husband, Chris. The Spencers are members of Pax Christi Catholic Church, where Pamela sings in the choir. Pamela is a cellist and has performed with the Lone Tree Symphony Orchestra for many years. She heads the Scrabble group of the Littleton Newcomers, and enjoys art and travel.
Pamela was concerned about the divide between people experiencing hardship and those in positions of comfort in many cultures. She searched for a way she could reach out and help people of the world in need directly—but her mission needed to be local so she could raise her family in Colorado where her husband is a United Airlines Captain. She found the answer at Love INC of Littleton, where she began working as a clearinghouse volunteer in May 2009. She extended her involvement by joining the Love INC Board of Directors, where she is able to contribute her writing, editing and event-planning skills. Pamela is enthusiastic about the ability Love INC has to change the lives of the disadvantaged in the name of Christ.
